Primary School (Years 1 – 6) Ages 5 – 11
The Primary School at Dodi International School is an ever-evolving centre of innovation and excellence in teaching and learning. Designed to build the essential academic, personal, and social skills needed for success in the 21st century, our programme blends the internationally benchmarked Cambridge Primary curriculum with rich local context and values-based education.
This comprehensive approach develops well-rounded, confident learners through our innovative teaching philosophy:
Student-Centered Learning
We believe in active, student-centered learning where critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity are celebrated.
Inquiry-Based
Our students are taught not just what to learn, but how to learn. We intentionally nurture metacognitive skills and a growth mindset.
Technology Integration
Classrooms are equipped with digital tools, making technology a seamless part of every child's learning experience.

Assessment and Progress
To ensure each student is making appropriate progress and receiving the support they need:
As part of their academic journey, students also take part in the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examinations each year in April, allowing us to benchmark their progress against international standards and provide targeted academic support.
We believe academic progress goes hand in hand with personal growth. That’s why our programme also includes co-curricular activities that help students explore interests, develop confidence, and build new skills extending learning beyond the classroom.
