Position Summary
Dodi International School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support classroom teaching and student learning across Early Years and Primary levels. The ideal candidate will work closely with lead teachers to help create an engaging, safe, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the lead teacher in preparing classroom materials and resources
Assist with lesson delivery, small-group activities, and one-on-one student support
Supervise students during lessons, transitions, break times, and school events
Reinforce classroom routines and behavior expectations
Support children’s emotional and social development through positive interactions
Monitor and report student progress, needs, or concerns to the lead teacher
Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities
Provide administrative support such as photocopying, filing, or marking under guidance
Qualifications & Requirements
A minimum of a Diploma in Education, Early Childhood, or a related field
Previous experience working with children in a school, daycare, or learning environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with young learners
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of French or other languages is a plus
Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, etc.)
First aid training or willingness to complete training is desirable
Preferred Attributes

Team-oriented and willing to take initiative
Able to adapt to changing classroom needs and routines
Respectful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and learning styles
